Artist Work Book Week 8

For week eight,  I enjoyed activity #2. It asked what would I have been if I had perfect nurturing. I pointed out that if I had perfect nurturing, I probably wouldn't respect the things I do as much, such as the things I have to work for. I correlate the perfect nurturing with being spoiled. I would be given everything and not disciplined.

I want to adopt being a better listener to my fiancé. I know that I get in my moods and I don't really listen well to what he's telling me. I think its both a problem that we have. I have a hard time coming up with things in the moment and I’m really awkward. I try not to be, I think it just comes with time and practice. I feel uncomfortable with touching people but I know it’s doing something good for me. I can just feel it. I like the text excercise better. I actually think it’s kind of fun.

Artist Date

For my artist date this week, I meditated! I didn't really know what I was doing, so I just looked up a beginners mediation session on Youtube and it was awesome! I just did it in my room with some calming music playing while listening to the video. I will definitely be doing this more often!
